To become greater than yourself you have to become more than what you think you were. Who are we really?
My flesh lives in fear although my soul simultaneously lives in hope. Entrapped by social fears and financial restraint, I am free to do anything.
Beauty within reach yet so far away. I am in love, but self loathe. I feel uneasy in my own skin. Pain curbs my will and my flesh steals my might. I want to be free, to feel at one.
I proclaim I am clear minded and worry free, yet I ponder after every interaction “am I good enough” “could I do better” for the world, other people, myself and for this life?!
I question myself. Am I trying too hard to fit in? Is it wrong to be better than I was yesterday, to question myself, my motivations and morals? To be more than I was?
Broken throughout time, and yet unjustifiably pieced together with it, I believe there is more to just existing.
Unequivocally irreversibly enlightened. I have more layers than the proverbial onion. Try peeling them back, you may well cry.
My soul yearns for more. I am stuck within four walls and a shell. My body, my home. Life.
Like a caterpillar I await transcendence within my cocoon. I am just waiting to fly.

“I’m very grateful for the way life has turned around. That bad people don’t stay and that good ones do. Though it has never been easy, I’m grateful for the life lessons, wisdom and understanding that comes from falling, because without it I would never have learnt to fly.” – ML Malta
We all make mistakes, especially when we’re in pain. You are more than the sum of a few stupid decisions. You are more than your mistakes. If people judge you by them, they really don’t know you. Your character should stand out and shine above the petty things. People will never know your truth, and who cares? Why should they? They certainly don’t need to! Who’s business is it to judge? I’m sure they’re not perfect. So why worry ourselves and destroy your own value and self worth because we’re so busy worrying about what other people think of us. Why worry about something we can’t change?! Move on.
People will never know what you’ve lived through. How hurt you’ve been, who, or how many hurt you, when, where or how long or often?! People will judge us on our moment’s of failure, but that failure isn’t an end, it’s a lesson. We grow, we learn and we mature. We’re constantly moving forward and developing. Don’t let the opinions of other’s – past or present, stop you from living your best life. You’re more than the opinions of sheep. We can’t allow pitfalls to leave us in the pit. You have to get up, shake off the dirt and get back on track. Forgive your naivety.
Start growing up and moving on with life. Life is with the living, the past is dead and buried. It is about time we heal. Leave it where it belongs – in the past. Take the lesson and forget the rest. Life is really too short to stress about silly mistakes. Please don’t waste another moment of your precious life harming yourself for being human.
You deserve to treat yourself with all the love and respect in the world. Follow your dreams and passion. Help people. Be kind to yourself and other’s. It is a start, and it definitely won’t be the end of a great life. Enjoy it. It’s your time to shine.

We laugh at others for amusement, while they struggle to catch a breath. Anxiety flood’s their bodies as they stand bravely, smiling and acting as if they did not notice. They put on a brave face, one of acceptance and resilience. The whisperers and passing glances infiltrate the mind while their heart skips a beat while fluttering so quickly it hurts. The pain is invisible and avoidable. The battle is internal with darts penetrating more than just our mere flesh. We are responsible for our actions and how we treat one another. People aren’t fair game nor is their livelihood. We can’t just take thing’s that don’t belong to us, including someone’s dignity and self worth. In this selfish world – we have to be better.
Find a reason to act in kindness. Learn empathy, seek love and understand how to give it. Instead of going with the crowd, go against it. Be thoughtful and considerate of others when everyone else walks by. Every day we get to choose what kind of people we are and who we want to become. Remember it is no harder nor easier than ever before, it is and has always been – a choice. A choice to live by our values than the lack of and the option to change them for the better. Good and bad, our choices do define us. Although it is inevitable for mistakes, we have the power to change and make better choices. Selfishness or selflessness. To be a better human we have to care enough to change.
Life is fleeting, but within it are millions of incremental moments that forge our eternity. We think the world is for our taking, including people. They are not, it is not. It is time to think about the choices we live by and how those moment’s define not just our existence, but the one in which we share.

If you are unable to define yourself or see yourself as you truly are, how can you shed the expectations of your peers? Be true to your heart, be true to yourself and to God. Be amazing, be wonderful, be kind, be courageous, loving and wise. Be silly, laugh and live life to the fullest. Help others, be charitable, but most of all be the you your 5 year old self hoped you grow up to be. Be the best version of yourself in a world that tries to make you the worst. You are worth fighting for. You are good enough. You are loved. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve walked down a dark road, you can always turn around and walk the other way. – M.L Malta
I hope with all I am, that I will enter heaven. That the doors will open and angel’s will walk beside me as Jesus greets me and welcomes me home. I hope that this life is not wasted, that the years and the moments in between mean something. I pray that God saves me from myself and the world that surrounds me.

Love didn’t have to hurt but it did. ML Malta
WE TEACH ONE ANOTHER HOW WE TREAT THE WORLD AROUND US. THE IDEALS WE EXPECT SHOULD BE EQUALLY BE GIVEN. IN A WORLD WITHOUT HONOUR, BE HONOURABLE. IN A WORLD THAT LACKS INTEGRITY, DEVELOP SOME. IN A HOME WITHOUT LOVE, CREATE IT. IN A WORLD WITHOUT HOPE, BELIEVE THAT IT NEVER LEFT. – ML MALTA
Your love is unconditional. You think upon me when the sun rises and sets. When the stars shine, your heart remains in mine. Every moment between belongs to me. Not one breath is breathed without exhaling me into existence. You strategically place me, even in the darkest corner so that when you stumble you have to find the light. Your love does not falter, nor does it contend. It is not self seeking or power hungry. The only power you seek is mine to share. You want only to stop the darkness. You hope the lost become found, above your own life, you seek me.
I loved you unconditionally… yet, for the world to love me, what eye can truly see? You show me, love me, and offer my love to the world. At the risk of life and the price of all that matters you bow before me, offering your life. You do not just pray, you speak to me and wait for me to answer. When I called out for you, you came and said Lord… “Here I am send me!” You have been obedient and trusted. You have given without repayment, sown through drought and watered those who needed to drink from me. Your life has fed the lost and given hope. Because of me you have transformed your life to represent unconditional love. I am unconditional love. Christ crucified is unconditional love. I am unconditionally yours.
