“We all rise and fall to expectations.” – ML Malta

You have a chance to do everything better than you have before. We are not defined or trapped by our past, nor is your future depicted by it. You create your future by the choices you make in each current moment. The present, is your gift. Those choices we seemingly assume to be mindless are creating the future, your future, before your very eyes. We need to be mindful and concious of the way we live out our day’s. Live in each moment purposefully, because you are the architect, designer and creator of this life you are living out.
Your future can be anything you desire it to be. The past is familiar and it is often repeated because of this familiarity we are drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Such as the same type of partner’s that end up breaking your heart. Familiar is not necessarily good, but fear stops us from seeking the new and we often settle back into old patterns and behaviors. We are habitually drawn to familiar things even though they can be negative. Because we have created fear around the idea of the unknown and unpredictably of a future that isn’t controlled, we tend to gravitate to the same men or women, or have trouble changing routines that are toxic. The familiar is modelled off your past, so if you are trying to change your direction stop following the same blueprints and recreate your life by proactively holding life’s pen and rewriting it. Embrace the new!
Starting setting high goals! Have expectations beyond your limiting thoughts and feelings. Leave the past like unturned soil. Stop digging it up! You cannot change what you did yesterday, but you can improve now! Make a deal with yourself to modify your thinking and to change your feelings. The actions will follow. Eventually your world will start to change. It will be possible for you to get excited about life. You will unlock opportunities and a whole new world will open its gates to you with open arms. New isn’t scary, staying the same is.
Take control of your thought life. Don’t own every feeling and thought that drops into your head, you can change and swap those for other constructive and kind thoughts. If you go to a shop for cake and it gives you coal you wouldn’t accept it, you deserve the best, you demand the best and you expect the best. So why do we accept less when it comes to ourselves and those vicious inner voices and critics? Why listen to the haters in our heads without challenging them? They can be challenged and they can be changed. We aren’t the product of our thoughts, but we are shaped by conscious thinking and the words thereof.
Do not dwell on the things and events of the past that have torn you down or limited your belief in life, love or yourself. Be better, do better every single day. Make changes within yourself and take back control of your life and give the world the version of yourself that is no longer afraid to breathe. Get beyond your self. Use your imagination to stir up thoughts and feelings that match your desires instead of your fears. Deny access to the enemy and dark energy that once resided. Take back ownership of your thought life, mind, body and soul.
Life really is too short, enjoy it.

Perceptions are versions of our individual truth. They are an accumulation of distorted images and sensory stimuli that create physiological, psychological and neurological responses to the world about us and the way we respond to it. Our memories and experiences are unique; they are based of an individual standpoint and mindset.
A single memory can trigger the way we interpret everything else because it may be a sensitivity we had not discovered about ourselves. Over time we stack them like bad chapters in decaying books. Being mindful and acknowledging the mind in its complexities, we may be able to see the simple world around us and how we shape it through our experiences.
We can change the way we interpret and fit the world around us. If we can reframe our past and file away those triggers so that we understand them, maybe we can find peace. Maybe, if we focus on the joy’s, rather than our fear and failures, we can build up rather than tear ourselves down. Maybe, in the darkness you can close your eyes and see yourself dancing without the noise and shine the light on your hope, strength and love.
